18 Weeks and Sick

I'm not in week 18 which is exciting. December 28th is when I turned 18 weeks which also happened to be Hope's due date. I cried a little bit about Hope but I did pretty well with keeping my emotions together. I know she's safe in Heaven and watching down on us.

So I'm sick this week which hasn't be fun. I have a runny nose, sore throat, sneezing like crazy and coughing. Trying to get better for Thursday which is our ultrasound and Ob appointment. So excited I just hope the baby lets us know what he or she is.. People keep saying I'm having a girl and part of me is thinking that too but who knows. :) Either way it's going to be amazing.

So Saturday I decided I really needed watermelon and it is hitting the spot. I also have been in love with those Little Debbie mini chocolate chip muffins. They have become my new favorite thing. Also been drinking orange juice mind you it has to be super watered down otherwise I get heartburn but I've really been enjoying it.

So I cant wait to write an update later this week if we find out the gender! <3

Anyone want to guess what we are having comment below.

First Christmas with a Baby Bump

So Christmas this year was wonderful. We spent Christmas Eve with my husband's dad's family. It was so nice to be around so much family. It was the first time I have seen any of them since being pregnant. Everyone was so sweet and kind. That whole family is loving and caring. They really make you feel apart of the family. Several of the family members even bought our little one Christmas presents which was totally unexpected. I had to hold back tears because I thought it was so sweet.

Baby's first Christmas Presents

I forgot to mention I also did my Quad screening blood work on Christmas Eve and now waiting for the results. We got home late that night so my husband and I slept in. In the morning I made cinnamon rolls for a very late breakfast. The hubby and I had a small Christmas from the two of us the year because the baby is truly our gift.

Went to my parents for 4pm and we opened gifts which was nice. I really loved everything I got. Actually it seemed like everyone was truly happy and thankful for everything we got. We had Shrimp cocktail and a veggie platter till we had dinner. My parents made a yummy ham dinner.

Needless to say I really enjoyed Christmas this year. Being pregnant for Christmas was wonderful. :) Though in the back of my head December 28th never left my head. I know it was Hope's first Christmas in Heaven and our Rainbow Baby's first Christmas in my belly. I truly feel blessed though. God gave me an angel and a beautiful baby growing in my belly.

I hope everyone had an amazing Christmas.

17 Weeks

Well today marks 17 weeks. Nothing again much has changed. Getting more round ligament pain but that's a good thing. Crazy amounts of bloody noses which hasn't been fun. No food cravings or anything. Still just eating the food I normally would eat.

Excited that Christmas is almost here! Tuesday night will be fun we will be spending it with my husband's family. The Christmas day will be just the two of us for part of the day then off to my parent's house at 4pm.

Excited to be pregnant for Christmas this year. Plus I always look forward to spending time with family. Hoping everyone has a wonderful Christmas if you celebrate it. :) I might do a blog about how my Christmas was. Also who doesn't love getting Christmas cards in the mail? I know I do.

16 Weeks and 3 Days Baby's Heartbeat video

So here is a video of our Rainbow's heartbeat I realized two weeks ago I had posted one with the heartbeat. Sounds like it's still nice and strong. Baby kept moving so it's not as clear as last time. So blessed.

16 Weeks

So this week my husband and I have finally finished up Christmas shopping. I've also wrapped everything we bought. I've mailed the Christmas cards out and the gifts we needed to send out have been mailed. It's a good feeling to know everything involving that kind of Christmas stuff is done.

We had our first real snow storm Saturday into Sunday this week. We got about 7 inches or so. So it truly feels like it is Christmas. Plus getting more snow tomorrow. It is always nice to have a white Christmas. The years there hasn't been snow on the ground always feels a little odd..

Pregnancy wise I feel pretty good minus the occasional headache and being tired. Can't believe I'm 4 months pregnant which means I have 5 more months to go. Nothing new to really report otherwise involving pregnancy. Still feeling the baby move and the baby still has a nice strong heartbeat.

I hope everyone is having a wonderful week and if you celebrate Christmas I hope you get all your shopping done soon and everything else is all set as well.. :)

Ready for Christmas before the snow storm that happened

Into week 15

So I'm already a few days into week 15 and I can't believe it. So far this week still not sleeping and tired. Plus I'm not having any cravings at all. Though I will say my favorite thing is feeling the baby move. I started feeling it in week 14 and it just seems to be getting stronger.

The best feeling the world is feeling our baby move and hearing the heart beat. My life feels like it's almost complete. I've been missing our angel we lost back in May a lot lately. I think it's because Hope's due date is coming up.

I have been wanting to get an ornament for the tree so badly for Hope but couldn't find anything I liked. Then I remembered that my mom had bought me an angel ornament that's says I love you on it. She had also placed a white diaper pin on it. So I placed it on the tree two nights ago and cried.

The small angel is what I'm talking about that is now on the tree

Baby Appointment

Went to our baby appointment today. So I've gained 2 1/2 pounds so far at almost 15 weeks. My blood pressure was good 106/74 which is great considering I normally run really low. I'm measuring on track which is also great. The doctor also listened to the baby's heartbeat he said it's nice and strong which is good to hear.

My ultrasound has been set up January 2, 2014 I look forward to being able to find out if we are having a boy or girl. I know some people prefer to wait but for my husband and I we want to know. We just want to make sure we have everything we need for when our little one is born.

That is really all that is going on other than climbing stairs causes me to be short of breathe. Also I made another Turkey last night. This baby has been loving turkey and it is all I have been wanting lately. I'm so thankful for this baby growing in my belly. <3

Baby's Heart beat Video and 14weeks

It's so exciting that I'm already into my second trimester. I'm 14weeks and 4days today. I'm tired but everything else pregnancy wise seems to be fine. I go to the doctor's tomorrow which is exciting. Hopefully after the appointment they will set up the ultrasound so we can find out the gender of our little one!!

I'm still not sleeping due to insomnia but I'm used to it. With RSD and Fibro I don't sleep well anyways. I'm so thankful still and even though some days pain wise it's hard I wouldn't change a thing. I know not being on my medications is the best thing I can do for our baby.

Here is the baby's heartbeat from yesterday. I love hearing it and right now there is no better sound.

Birth Story of my Daughter.

So it's been a long time since I have last posted. First and foremost in November of 2016 I had another baby a little girl who we named ...
